My grandmother passed away Sept 22nd. Again, thank you to everyone for your kindness and your understanding for my limited performance schedule.
July 2011
My father passed away July 12th after a hard battle with cancer.
I cannot do justice in words to the gratitude I feel to my family, friends and fans for all of your support and kind words during these difficult months. Thank you all so very much.

I will be organizing another Ceilidh at the Arts Block, but co-ordinating the time frame between performers and the Arts Block is still an ongoing process, as they have a brand new space! Thanks for your patience!! The last one was so much fun, we hope you'll join us. We're planning on some dancing this time too!

Ceilidh in Oakvillle! Loril was a featured performer at this event sponsored by the Oakville Scottish Country Dance Group. A great evening of music and dance where everyone was welcome! Aug 5th was another fun evening for Cymer with a great audience at the Blue Dog Cafe in Brantford. What a nice venue!
On July 24th, 2010 I was a featured performer at the Sanderson Centre as part of the Alexander Graham Bell 100th Anniversary Celebration in Brantford, Ont. What a wonderful venue! It's a very old theatre and was designed with acoustic instruments in mind. Huge thanks to the technical crew for all their help, and Kathleen McDonald for harpist wrangling.
On the July 8th Folk night at the Blue Dog Cafe in Brantford the Celtic group "Cymer" (Dan MacDonald and myself on bodhran and harp) premiered some new material. It was a very hot, humid night, so thanks to the audience for their enthusiasm (and to my harp for staying in tune...)
The Ceilidh at the Arts Block April 30th was a riot! We had a great, fun crowd. Thanks to Eclectic Celtic, Katie and Cyndi and Dan MacDonald for coming out to play with me that night.
